Summary
This position is responsible for coordinating, planning, and organizing quality activities for the Medical Center and within the Quality Resource Department, participating in the identification of strategic quality initiatives, and having oversight for reporting hospital quality data both internally and externally.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Health Science or related field is required.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California is required.
- Minimum of two years acute care experience required.
- One year experience in quality management with demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement methodologies, statistical analysis, and knowledge of federal and state requirements for reporting of hospital quality data is preferred.
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) is preferred.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, ability to work well with physicians, a high level of computer proficiency, and strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
